Pre-Upgrade Assessment

​The Envision IT SharePoint Pre-Upgrade Assessment prepares you to upgrade your SharePoint site to Office 365 or Share​Point 2013.

Are you ready to upgrade to Office 365 or SharePoint 2013? Our SharePoint Pre-Upgrade Assessment service will help you prepare for an upgrade by identifying potential issues, performing a test upgrade, and providing recommended approaches for a successful upgrade.           

What We'll Do

  • Inventory your site content (lists, libraries, pages etc.)
  • Run SPDocKit on your farm to inventory the farm infrastructure
  • Review all custom and vendor solutions to determine the impact on the upgrade and identify necessary remediation tasks 
  • Consult with you to determine the best upgrade approach for your SharePoint site, either to SharePoint 2013 or Office 365

What You'll Get

At the end of the assessment you will receive a report that includes the following:

  • An inventory of your site content:
    • Number of lists and libraries
    • Number of pages
    • Number of documents
    • Number of list items
  • A detailed report of the farm configuration
  • A recommended approach and estimated cost for migration or upgrade


  • The cost of this service starts at $1,480 for a simple farm
  • Additional charges may apply for more complex or larger farms
