Our Accessibility Assessment can help you identify web accessibility issues and determine if your site is AODA compliant.

Using accessibility analysis tools and techniques, we will review your SharePoint sites to determine if there are issues in the structure and content as defined by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 . At the end of the audit we will deliver comprehensive documentation that shows exactly what we've found, and what to do about it.

Why Worry Abo​ut Accessibility?

AODA is the legislative standard that removes and prevents barriers to accessibility for those with disabilities.

Under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) organizations may face penalties of up to $100,000 per day if found guilty of an offence following the dates listed in the tables below:

Government of Ontario and the Legislative Assembly WCAG 2.0 Level AA Deadlines:

New or significantly modified internet and intranet websites and web content January 1, 2012
All internet websites and web content January 1, 2016
All intranet websites and content January 1, 2020

Designated Public Sector and Large Organizations WCAG 2.0 Level AA Deadlines:

New or significantly modified internet and intranet websites and web content January 1, 2014
All internet websites and web content January 1, 2021

What Yo​​u'll Get

At the end of the audit you will get a report that includes the following:

  • Full list of sites and their​ structure running on your farm​ including the number of master pages, layouts, web parts, and custom pages
  • Initial list of WCAG 2.0 Level A, AA, and AAA issues and warnings
  • Plan for addressing the issues and warnings
    • ​​Note: an estimate to fix issues will be provided
    • Fixing the issues is not included in the assessment and depends on the number and severity of the issues
  • Web Content Accessibility Training Plan​

  • $5,000 for small- to medium-sized solutions
    • Note: price is limited to 2 SharePoint websites (web applications or site collections) in 2 ​languages, 2 master pages, 5 layouts, and up to 100 pages in each site
