For the second year, Envision IT riders Peter Carson and Peter Mackenzie are participating in the Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer, benefiting The Campbell Family Institute at The Princess Margaret, one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world. You can read more about the ride at http://to11.conquercancer.ca.
Our two riders are part of a larger Alexis' Angels (Attitude Is Everything) team. Last year the team was the third-largest fundraising team, contributing $287,978 to the $16.1 million raised. This year's 47 team members have set a fundraising goal of $200,000, which they are already on their way to.

To help the team riders get ready for the big weekend, a social and training ride is being organized on Saturday April 30, 2011. The ride is not just for team members, but is open to anyone who wants to come out and enjoy a great road ride around Halton and Wellington regions, in and amongst the beautiful Niagara Escarpment.
The agenda for the day is as follows:
- 9:30 AM Gather and organize in Georgetown
- 10:00 AM Group start
- 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM estimated return time
- 1:00 PM BBQ lunch
The ride is approximately 55 km, starting in Georgetown, west through Limehouse, across Highway 25 and Guelph Line, south through Moffat, and back to Georgetown. Riders interested in a longer ride can break out in Limehouse and add an additional 20 km loop through Rockwood. Many parts of this route were part of last year's RTCC.
